Peregrine School is now hiring for an elementary school chef for our elementary school site. This is a part-time position providing an excellent, high-quality lunch and snack program for all students and staff at Peregrine Elementary School, ensuring well-balanced and varied meals in keeping with the school’s emphasis on local, organic, nutritious food. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with additional hours during the week as needed for shopping, events, and meetings. Qualifications include an Associate’s degree (AA/AS) or equivalent; culinary school training; three to five years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must possess knowledge of, and commitment to, basic food and kitchen safety, as well as of Peregrine school’s specific safety policies.
