“Perfectly executed regional Italian” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014 NEW We visited Amarone for dinner after a Sunday matinee. The service was very attentive, the ambiance was classic-comfortable (white table linens but a relaxed feeling) and the food was very good by my standards (Im the granddaughter of an Italian chef). We had the risotto of the day and the ravioli special. The pear salad and grilled mushroom app were both perfectly executed. The zabaglione was the best Ive had since my grandmother passed. The pricing is what one would expect in NYC for this area of town: pasta dishes are mid-teens to low $20; meat dishes are mid-$20s to mid-$30s. The wine list had a wide range of quality Italian regional wines at price points starting at $45). - Great review from Trip Advisor
