Performing random acts of kindness is a great way to help your fellow man and be a servant of God. But when you perform these acts and then post them on Facebook, who are you really feeding? The person in need? Or your own ego? Would that homeless man you gave food and water to appreciate you exploiting his dire situation so you could get a few pats on the back? So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others.
