Perhaps Ive been corrupted by the Bush School but, why dont we just let Russia have Crimea? It is primarily Russian and home to a major Russian naval base. The stake for Russia are far too high for the United States to hope to coerce it out of the region. Also, as harsh as this may sound, Ukraine has little value to U.S. and we as a nation do not have the resources to provide freedom for the world. Sometimes a nation must pull itself up if it hopes to survive in the harsh environment of world politics. If help must come, it should be from the western powers of the EU-it is their continent and their neighbor that needs their aid. To my fellow conservatives, the President is not weak-he is simply facing the inevitable consequence of trying to lead in a multipolar world.
