Perhaps a small step towards legal secondary suites. Ward 14 Councillor Demong proposed during todays council meeting that if 11 of 20 close neighbours approve of a secondary suite, the suite could move forward. However, Councillor Farrell has some concerns about involving neighbours in a secondary suite approval rather than allowing planners to assess the suites planning merits.
