Perhaps everything happening is sound and the sound, through various biological pressures, is being shaped by a natural, random, impersonal, unilateral, finite momentum. This would mean instead of understanding beliefs and thinking as a known object, it would be understood as the sound beliefs and thinking upon which other sounds could be layered to create meaning about beliefs and thinking. (This would only appear as an appearance and not as a permanent feature. If any particular sound were permanent, no variety would be detectable.) My sense is the story of my life does not exist anywhere except as the telling of it. This means whatever it could be, it exists only in sound. It is not an object, any lived event of memory. It vanishes as it is recorded or it is lost for a slightly longer eternity than this one. I think thinking is the only thing that can ever happen and it is taking place in a finite order of sounds. What is fascinating is the notion of stream of consciousness. It too, no matter what it is comprised of, can only be communicated as sound. It could be thought No. Someone can make a painting of it, would be an accurate response, however, paintings are what these letters are and these letters are sounds. Someone could act it out, doesnt leave the canvas. I cannot explain sound. I can only know it is maybe all I could ever actually be. Grasshopper rubbing legs together. Do you think it is the definition of things that is the fundamental confusion and not the things themselves?
