Perhaps out of millions of tourist in DC area who visited the US capitol area especially at the Lincoln Memorial yesterday; I met a couple who are tourists from France and Iran. I practiced by greeting them in Farsi. They were surprised how I learned Farsi; so thanks to Alireza Majzoobi, Somayeh Panahi, Sara Salimizadeh, Ali Tmr, Hamid Reza Sh, Hamid Abbassi for teaching me your heart language. Laila from Iran who now resides in Paris even extended her invitation if we should contact her if we ever made our trip to Paris. At Lincoln Memorial, I met and conversed with internationals (who are strangers, of course) from other countries such as China, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, etc. But most importantly, I had a great time with my family there. Though our time was very short in Washington DC area yesterday, we made to Lincoln Memorial which was part of my oldest sons home school assignment for history subject. Our business trip to Indonesian Embassy went very well; thanks to the Consular staffs for their help and thanks to Victor for showing us the closest place for running errand (getting extra pictures for my children). And that the Lord is kind for our family!
