Perhaps, the average American is ignorant about PTSD. One group - TopicsExpress

Perhaps, the average American is ignorant about PTSD. One group with whom I interact largely imagines it to be inherent weakness like the inability to get over an insult or small injustice (butthurt). The other group imagines it to be the lack of a specific, religious perspective (faithlessness). Both generic perspectives BLAME THE INDIVIDUAL and dismiss environmental factors. That is to say, both points-of-view ignore the material portion of our human make-up that is SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED AND SCALED to the material portion of the universe. Those broad perspectives lack NURTURE, and, therefore, arent intrinsically concerned with HEALING.
