Perhaps the prepared text is a bit misleading. I am not of fame - TopicsExpress

Perhaps the prepared text is a bit misleading. I am not of fame nor fortune. I am but a humble, arrogant SOB. I live South. South of what? Look at a globe. I live near the bottom - unless of course some AH has it upside down. My background is in the past. That is where it belongs and there it shall remain Interests: Now we get to it. Love mounting my Road Bike and going as fast as I can go. Which is not as fast as Lance Armstrong makes his go. I will hear no negative speak of Lance. I may owe my life to him and his Foundation. I am completely head-over-heels for Formula One Racing. MY team is Mercedes AMG Petronas. Drivers are Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. I would not cross a narrow street to see a NASCAR race - but I will fly half-way around the world to for an F1 weekend. Note: I WILL do that, but due to factors well outside my control - I dont. Should anyone wish to write me a check - that would assist in overcoming those factors. Music: I dont make it - I listen and buy. I used to make music, but that is in my background, and we have already covered that. I hate naming a favorite or best anything. Too subjective. But the BEST band in the entire history of recorded music IS Fleetwood MAC - in all its incarnations. They began in 1968 and are still going in 2014. OK that is settled. There are and have been many great bands. The Eagles, Journey, Crosby, and whoever is around at the time. Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney & John Lennon are the musical genius of our time. I love the work of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. Now the even better part: In the day - breaking into the music industry was a matter of pure luck or sellings ones soul to Sony Music - and a few others. Now with You Tube, Twitter, and other social on-line networks, one may take ones career all the way - on their own. Oh, it still takes tons of work, and at the end, the product must be at least acceptable. If you love music and have some time - check out the search function on You Tube. (Young singers, etc.) Or better, collect names from Twitter then go to YT. You will find talent you never thought existed. And thats all I have to say.
