Perhaps the very worst reason not to do something is that somebody evil does it. The old Catholic church believed in the Trinity, the atonement, the Virgin Birth, the Incarnation, the Resurrection of Christ, and the inspiration of the Bible, the Apostles Creed, the Athanasius Creed, the Formula of Chalcedon, the Twelve Apostles, The Holy Supper, Baptism, the rule of Christ over the whole world. I suspect than anyone supporting any of these things of having secret popish leanings, no matter how strongly they protest that Romes understanding was corrupt. They are probably sorcerers and engage in witchcraft. Anything that Rome believed at any time must be abandoned by true Christians, for we are not to learn the way of the heathen. Neither must we think, for catholics have been known to engage in that vice. IRONY ALERT It is important that everyone invent his own church so that God will understand how pure he is.
