Perhaps winter is over. We say that because as of 9 p.m., January 13, there is only one Environment Canada alert in the entire country! Seldom if ever have we have seen this in any season. Coral Habour on the north shore of Hudsons Bay has an extreme cold warning. The rest of Canada has no weather warning, watches or special weather advisories. Meanwhile, in Slave Lake at 9 p.m., Tuesday, it was PLUS 5 degrees with clear skies, but windy with gusts up to 48 km per hour. Overnight low only expected to go down to minus 2 degrees. Normal for today is suppose to be low of minus 20 and high of minus 10.
