Perhaps you also heard our community organizer in chief last night float the idea of US citizens handing over their hard-earned retirement savings to the US Government. What did you think of that idea? The it will work is something like this: our uncle has one heck of a deal. He has been a bit down on his luck lately but is trying to make a comeback. Give him your retirement funds and he will invest them for you. Of course, the return you will get does not quite keep up with inflation, but don’t worry so much about that. Then, Sam is going to take your money and spend it all on unproductive things, so there will be nothing left when it comes time to make interest payments.
