The Quran is a revelation from Allah swt that serves multiple purposes, one of those being that of a historical account of nations that have passed before us. Allah (swt) had given such nations certain qualities that made them unique. These nations, however, had certain faults that provoked the wrath and ire of Allah (swt). Join us for a historical and scholarly look at these past nations and the lessons we can take from them. Lecture will be given by Sh. Kashif Aziz, Imam of Muhammadi Masjid Elmont, NY. And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. But the shriek seized them at early morning.
