Permission to speak my mind freely..._ In all fairness this did not go down well with me when I heard that a decision was reached via voting for Australia and New Zealand to be included in the 2015 South Pacific games in Port Moresby. Even If for 2 field of sports only... Once considered bully nations for their hardline stance to impose travel bans on members of our sports confederation who had links/ties to the military... Trade sanctions including writing off the seasonal workers scheme _ Suspending aid and various memorandums... Simply because they couldnt reach a compromise on Fijis political front. So much for let Fijians decide whats best for Fiji instead of nations who are keen to shove their nose in our internal affairs...as stated by our honorable PM addressing Pacific Leaders Forum. It is imperative that even a nation on a shoe-string budget our people still create ripples in their (Australia & New Zealands) sporting arena. Production-wise Pacific Islanders are regular contributors to their economy via seasonal workers scheme _military and defense co-operation, just to name a few. Well_ John Key, Id play golf with him any given day but could never get my head around John Howard _or so did lots of Australians. In similar gesture _ hope that good partnership prevails and $$$$ are given in aid because the crusaders are to play here in coming months... We need to upgrade our Stadium to world class standards... For an internationally sanctioned IRB sevens tournament (Fiji International Sevens hope I see that come to pass before I have grey hair...★★★
