Perry County Library Genealogy is helping to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Perry County by assisting in beginning Genealogy classes, and in filling out the First Family forms. If your family was in Perry County by 1814 up until 1865 you qualify as a First Family. Come into the Library Genealogy department and Cindy Kaufman will be happy to assist you. On Saturday, February 1st at 10:00 A.M. there will be help available to fill out the First Family forms in the Genealogy room. Cindy, and The Daughters of the Lafayette Spring chapter of NSDAR will be here that day also. Cindy is also available Mon, Tue, and Thursday from 9 to 5- and Wednesday evenings from Noon to 8 PM. Friday’s 9 to 2 PM. Some Saturday’s also, or you can call Cindy here at the Library anytime at 547-2661.
