Perry posturing and posing (literally) by the border whilst sending troops who arent allowed to do anything but make himself look like he did something isnt going to solve the border crisis. It will be solved when Congress decides it actually wants to work. Sending troops is like putting a wad of gum on a leaking dam. Will it do anything? No, it wont. The problems are far deeper than having a presence at the border. Policies need to be put in place that create lasting change. Humane policies that treat these immigrants as humans and not as rodents to be trapped. Enough with the poppycock. Rick Perry is only using the border crisis to amp up his 2016 run for the White House. Thats it.
