Persecution against Christians is not a new thing. In the New - TopicsExpress

Persecution against Christians is not a new thing. In the New Testament, Christians scattered literally around the world for their lives due to the persecution and manhunt particularly that led by Saul of Tarsus who later became the Apostle Paul. After the wake of the Prostestant Reformation, again Christians were targeted and hunted down because of their faith. This was done through the gruesome Spanish Inquisition led by the soldier Ignatius de Loyola. In the modern-day world the persecution of Christians has returned. Starting in Egypt where Coptic Christians are massively persecuted, Syria where churches are burned, Iraq as you see in the video, Nigeria where girls are kidnapped and forcely converted to another religion, Sudan where being a Christian is a threat, Iran where pastors are imprisoned, Libya where Christians are targets of abuse and beheading, Pakistan where Christians homes were burned out of false blasphemy allegations, India, Indonesia and China where churches are demolished, North Korea where just possessing a Bible is a crime. Where else? All over the world. I just praise God that the foreign land where I am working has a very tolerant and open-minded policy towards other religions, which believes in the co-existence of all people. No wonder, God has immensely blessed this place with much prosperity and peace. Let us continue to pray for our Christian brothers and sisters all over the world who are experiencing too much persecution. Indeed, things are shaping up Jesus imminent return!
