Persistently applying Psalm 91 to your prayer activities (or other - TopicsExpress

Persistently applying Psalm 91 to your prayer activities (or other areas in your life) will transform your nights into heavenly visitations. I have made it a habit to read each verse by applying the scripture specifically to me and my situation before praying. For example, I read Psalm 91:1 like this: "I dwell in the secret place of the most High and I abide under the shadow of the Almighty God." Here are several examples of how you could pray using Psalm 91 1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty Almighty God, hide me under Your wings. Hide me in your secret place and dwell with me throughout the night in Jesus name. 2 I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust." Almighty God, You are my only true protection and I trust you to protect me and to take care of me. Right now, I run into the name of Jesus Christ and I decree that I am safe (Proverbs 18:10). Put your hedge of protection (Job 1:10) around my spirit, soul, and body and keep me through the night in Jesus name. 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence You are my deliverer, Almighty God. Deliver me from every trap the enemy has planned for me in this night and do not allow me to fall into any pit the enemy has dug for me in Jesus name. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler Almighty God, cover and protect my spirit, soul, and body throughout the night. Release the Spirit of truth into my dreams and visions and separate me from the evil of the night in Jesus name. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day Father, I thank you that you did not give me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Every evil arrow that has been shot at me in the night, I command you to be uprooted and returned back to your sender in Jesus name. 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday I use the key of the house of David to lock and shut any doors (Isaiah 22:22) that are bringing satanic activity into my dreams and I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over the door posts (Exodus 12:23). No destroyer shall visit me in the night in Jesus name. Praying the Word of God works wonders. Try it today.
