Person to person....... I spent a lovely two hours yesterday meeting so many nice people. Maybe its too long since we pulled ourselves way from screens and just knocked on each others doors and just said hello! How are you? What do you think about this? I found people to be overwhelming against this drilling. Infrastrata had been to see one man but apart from that people do not know this is planned, and they are angry about that. *People telling me how much they love living in the countryside and what they love about it *One person incensed as he had watched Gasland a few weeks ago and was so mad they were considering it for here *People concerned about houseprices. *One person asked sammy wilson in the street one day about it, and sammy dismissed him with Sure wont you make a few pound for you land *Favourite quote: so you are telling me I need planning permission to go 8 foot up and they dont need permission to go 2000metres down?? I am encouraged, greatly encouraged and EXCITED to find that people DO give a shit- they just feel powerless. So please come to our meeting on Monday and lets make a plan as to what we CAN DO. Bring a friend!!
