Personal Mythology, dreams and time Me and husband are watching hers on Netflix right now. In this serie some people have manificent genetical power. One of them, my favorite, is the Japenes guy Hiro. He can bent space-time and travel back and forth to change things. My son and I were talking today about his desire to travel through space and time. It got me thinking about what my personal mythology was concerning time. My parents were worrisome concerning time. They taught me time was scarce, that I had tro make the most of it. That time flies. My dreams about time tell me that I have not enough of it. In one dream i forgot about an appointment with a client and I call him to tell him it is already three o clock so I can not make it any more to the appointment. When I searched James Hillmans Dream and the Underworld I read the same thing concerning dreams and time: The experience is that having lost time and being lost without time in a psychic place where foreward movement connot go on. This movement in time from upperworld to underworld by means of being late and running out of time can be compared with the movement from strory to image by the means of taking the words of time out of a story... Rushing and being late insepartly require each other. They occur together in an image.
