Personal Testimony while Coordinating Four days of Volunteers from Ladakh Students Welfare Society Delhi (LSWSD) for the International Buddhist Confederation 2013 being attended by more than 400 delegates across the globe. ~Honored to serve my this much delegates, talk with them, gain their wisdom, discussions and witnessing their wonderful presentations and exhibitions. ~Honored to be blessed by more than 15-20 High lamas/Rinpoches including the Karmapa, Gaden Tripa Rinpoche, Tai Situ Rinpoche, Ling Rinpoche and many others. ~The strong commitment of Ven Lama Lobzang highly Appretiable and his staff from Ashoka Mission higly remarkable to host such event. ~Busy days from 7am-10pm daily but proud of the dedication & Sincerity of our Volunteers. But......... ~A lot of mismanagement from the side of the event coordinators..(all of them hired). Treating the guests as a bunch of fools and addressing them with fake soft talks. ~Mismanagement by the outsider brokers(event coodinators) in the Reception, Hotel booking & travelling...... and at last blaming the volunteers for that. ~The Brokers calling "Lord Buddha Lord Buddha" on the face with a smile and whispering "Saley Gaya" at the back. ~Guests Waiting for hours for assistance from the coordinators and they come late by hours, switch off their phone and escape. ~The Brokers Ordering & Blaming the Volunteers who actually received a lot of appreciations from the Delegates and High Lamas also. .... and so on....................... Thinking to submit an application to the Ashoka Mission about all this so that such disheartening stuffs can be avoided for such future conferences... :)
