Personal academic development: while my thesis still frozen and I - TopicsExpress

Personal academic development: while my thesis still frozen and I stuck with kids, Ramadan and laziness, (aka exhaustion or relaxation, you choose..) .etc, I received the referee reports of my first academic paper (in English) which has been sent to a grade A Political Science Journal. Both anonymous referees agreed that the paper is spot in, has potential and relevant to the Islamist and contemporary Islamism studies, and thereafter they recommended some structural changes and other theoretical changes (no complaints whatsoever about reference or literature review, which seems for them fantastic) and resubmit. The editor, Ian, even went further and booked me in for March 2015 issue, and recommended me to resubmit my revised copy in mid November this year to be able to include up to date contemporary politics of the Islamists and their ever changing events and happenings. The 1M dollars here, and considering all my roller-coater life during last 23 years in exile etc, and howe i started my academic life in another language then during last 10 years focus solely on my ESL, etc,.. should I be upset of this news (my paper didnt get published straight away, esp it was peer-reviewed already in the last year national Australian Political Science conference) or be happy instead?
