Personal opinion review between two of the most known helmet bluetooth intercom: Nolans nCom b4+, and Sena 20S... They both features bluetooth 4.0, and they both costs at around the same price! Each has their own advantages and disadvantages. Which I will review them briefly. Nolans nCom b4+ (+) Fits nicely to Nolan helmets, N104 and N44 series only though. Great design! (+) Has more surround sound on the speakers... Maybe because of its bass quality. (-) Definately designed not to be used with other than Nolan N104 and N44. (-) Very fragile on its 3 bottons on the side of the helmet. Very high risk on having the rubber layer to be exfoliated, which means the water is than becomes easy to get inside the bottons, which means short circuit!! And this is fatal, in terms of usable of the intercom. (-) Cant request for spareparts other than battery and charger. You have to buy the whole unit for a replacement. Sena 20S (+) More universal use, fits in any helmets we like. (+) More features such as Tabbing the unit to do the voice command, and ability to hear whats happening on the outside... Etc. Read the manual book for details. (+) Easier to get spareparts. (+) Its said and reviewed by others that Sena has a doublechip bluetooth. That means we are able to listen to music while we do the other features (intercom-ing, or calling). I havent got this advantages yet... But I still put this in. (-) Not that good on the speakers, to much treble... A bit irritating when were listening to music, radio especially! For intercom use, its okay though. (-) Eventhough designed and look very nicely done, it still takes more space everytime we want to put 2-3 helmets side-by-side on the desk for instance, or we want to put in the helmet inside the Givi box, its not as convinience with nCom b4+. (-) This happens in my Sena 20S unit, doesnt mean happens in every Sena 20S. It hot short circuit as well...!! WTF! Thank God it still has its warranty, so I quicly swap the unit with a new one. Which means... Better after sales service! 😀😀 And thats IMPORTANT!! Hopefully you find my short review a bit helpfull. Decide which one you want to get. They both are good quality bluetooth intercom... But in my personal opinion, Sena 20S takes the lead. Note: I havent use this Sena as long as Ive been using nCom. Lets see how tough it gets in wet and heavy rain weather condition. Cheers..... 😊😊
