Personal suggestion: stay the unholy hell away from 1 floor/1 level condos. Nothing worse than getting a third of a million dollars in debt so you can live in the same exact apartment setting you lived in when you only had to pay a fraction of the cost as a renter. Townhouses on the other hand are probably THEE best things ever created in real estate. Dont believe me? Test it out. Have some kids, rent a 1 floor condo, take them kids to live in a 3 level townhouse and tell me your life doesnt change.
