Personally I believe these tests as currently written and administered should not be used in the evaluation of teachers. We have seen how flawed the tests can be and basing part of an evaluation on a flawed concept does not benefit students. Until the tests are truly age and grade level appropriate they should not factor in to either the student or teacher evaluations. How can teachers or students be fairly evaluated from year to year if the scoring metrics are secret and changed each year by NYSED & the Board of Regents? The answer is they cant.
