Personally I dont blast EVERY gig I work on, Im a very personal person but am proud of my career and what what Ive accomplished. I was reminded of this blessing of an opportunity and had to share. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with some great Kids a few years ago on a television show called Majors & Minors, assisting with choreography and artist development. This is when my career changed and realized I loved working with the younger generations, because they are the future of music. I remember when I first heard these talented individuals come together and just sing, it happened so naturally it brought tears to my eyes. The amount of passion each of them had in their voices was so organic that it made you realize why you followed your heart and pursued your own dreams in the career path I chose. Not to mention we got to work side by side in developing these kids with mentors on the show including: Brandy, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Sean Kingston, Mike Posner, One Republic’s Ryan Tedder, Will.i.am, Avril Lavigne, Colbie Caillat, Jennifer Hudson, just to name a few. This experience was more than a dream come true, it was a reminder that no matter what you go through in life, Believe in yourself. Only you have the power to make things happen, and have a voice.
