Personally, I think the ban on plastic bags isnt a bad thing. I mean, to those who are saying that the cloth bags fester disease, you do realize that cloth can go into the washing machine, right? Sure, having to pay ten cents for a bag that doesnt hold much sucks, but for me, I take home at least 13 plastic bags from grocery shopping every two weeks. Thats 26 plastic bags I take home a month, and if I remember, every 3-4 months I take the ones that dont become little garbage bags to be recycled. $1.30 for 13 of those cloth bags that can be washed and reused over and over instead of cluttering up a space and then ending up wasting precious energy doesnt sound so terrible in that sense.
