Personally, my husband and I need Obamacare due to pre-existing - TopicsExpress

Personally, my husband and I need Obamacare due to pre-existing conditions. I dont have a problem with the motive to help those who have been blacklisted from getting health insurance. I do, however, have a problem with the bill itself - which is flawed, unread by most who voted for it, and has already caused a doubling of health insurance rates for many, if not most, of those needing health insurance. A young family of 4 suddenly has their rate go from $450 per month to $1200 per month. This is what is happening, people. The penalties that the IRS is going to levy on those who dont get insurance are WRONG. The administration has made deals with big business to give them a year off from these penalties. What the House of Representatives was asking was for the people to be excused from the penalties just like the big corporations. The intent was not evil; it was to stop Big Brother from getting deeper into the pockets of Americans. But it was intentionally turned into political showcasing, the POTUS not willing to even discuss even touching his precious baby. Thus, a stalemate. This problem is far from over. With most people not able to even see the offerings of Obamacare due to the computer glitches, slow frustration is going to come to a boil. By next year, it will hit the fan when the American people finally realize what they have done. Maybe if social agendas were kept OUT of politics, elected officials could concentrate on the common sense business of running the Federal Government.
