Perspective. A few hours ago, I was frustrated at the amount of work that still needed to be accomplished; the futility of what I felt I was accomplishing; the insufficient number of hours in any given day; the phenomenon of how quickly money passes from my hands to debtors to pay bills and banks; NOW, having stared seemingly certain death in the face and survived the ride, I am grateful for the breath in my lungs and the precious time I have. I needed this reset on my priorities and a good dose of humility, and for that I am grateful. It is far too easy to get so caught up in life that you forget to live. I have been so stressed and exacerbated trying to balance and juggle everything on my plate that I completely lost focus on the end goal. To my dear and wonderful friend Patrick who risked his own life to help me out and to my sweet, treasured friend Austin who would have impressed even Superman himself in his speed and belief that he could beat a tumbling tractor down a hill- I love you both dearly and am so grateful and blessed to have you in my life
