Perspective: Tomorrow is the anniversary of my daughter Shaylas death. Every year this date is supposed to serve as some stupid f*cking reminder that she is gone. As if I would somehow miss her MORE on that day than I do the rest of the year, it was snowing the day she died. Also every year when it snows I read post after post from parents who have been forced to have to spend time with their children because school was cancelled. To read them you would think this was some kind of prison sentence. Maybe instead of b*tching you should put on YOUR snowsuit and go outside and sled with your children, build a snow man, a snow angel, throw a snowball pick your children up and spin them around and laugh and play and get wet and cold until you cant feel your fingers and toes and face anymore...and then go inside and make some hot chocolate with the BIG fat f*cking marshmallows...you never know when one day you may be sitting inside on a snowy day looking at a picture of your children and wishing that you had. -tattootom
