Perspectives on Politics is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic - TopicsExpress

Perspectives on Politics is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal covering political science. It was established in 2003 and is published by Cambridge University Press on behalf of the American Political Science Association. The central point that emerges from our research is that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence. Our results provide substantial support for theories of Economic Elite Domination and for theories of Biased Pluralism, but not for theories of Majoritarian Electoral Democracy or Majoritarian Pluralism. blacklistednews/US_Is_an_Oligarchy_Not_a_Democracy%2C_says_Scientific_Study/34498/0/38/38/Y/M.html
