Persuasion of Belief. Before we can believe something, we need knowledge and influence to persuade us that it is indeed something that we can understand, accept and believe in. Now I know many people that will refuse to believe in God, due to the way He has been reflected, taught and portrayed by religious christians and quite frankly I dont blame them. When it comes to clearing the room when these guys are around I lead the pack (sadly I was also one of them at one time) RUN! The error came and still comes when people think and teach that the bible and all it encompasses is a literal life manual for mankind, well it is MOST DEFINATELY NOT!!! It was never written to be understood or applied that way and that is where the incorrect knowledge and influence come from. This does not persuade us enough of the truth, hence we reject it, because it is unbelievable. What it is however is the portrayal of a loving Father, who lost His most special and treasured procession and creation to a system of death. This happened by the free will He gave us, as He did not want robots to serve Him but people to have relationship and friendships with. It is about the love story and journey He took, in the person of Jesus, too repurchase and regain what was lost. It reveals His plan from conception, to completion of unconditional love and all He did and would do to restore mankind to Him. It’s not about you, it never was, it always and only ever has been about Jesus and what He would and did do for you. He does not judge you, condemn you, or want to change you, He is not sin conscious, religion (the way of man) is. Its a love story of how special, precious and wonderful you are to Him and the work He would do on your behalf so you could enjoy Life as He originally intended it. When correctly understood and accepted, this truth can influence people and persuade them of truth that can be believed. The only part you play in the story, is that you are the motivation behind it all. Think people, Choose Life!
