Pertronix came out with the Ignitor III a couple weeks ago, and weve been tinkering with them in the shop. They incorporated some super nice features into this, and Id have to say its by far the best ignition system on the market for the money. In addition to the electronic ignition, theyve incorporated a multiple sparks feature, a programmable digital rev-limiter (super easy to program, as youll see in the video), variable dwell to match the entire RPM range, up to 4 times more spark energy than with a standard distributor with points, and best of all..... If you accidentally hook it up backwards, it has reverse polarity protection, so you dont cook it. 30 month electronic warranty, 12 month mechanical.
