Pete Green being interviewed on RT about our LU UK conference at the weekend. Four of us from Wales were able to attend for the two days. It was really worth the effort with strong socialist policies being agreed on the environment; international policy and solidarity; education; crime and justice; social security; and electoral strategy. These now join policies on the economy; health and social care; the NHS; housing and our foundation statements for inclusion in a manifesto to be launched early next year. A number of other areas such as on disability and impairment; the constitution and democracy will go to National Council following more commission work. Members in Wales been working on Left Unity policy for us and in a couple of weeks we will be drawing upon this work and the UK decisions to put forward a draft Left Unity manifesto for Wales at our next meeting in Wrexham on 6 December. The full decision of the weekends conference should go up on the website this week. If you want to be involved please coming along but it is even better if you join as you will have a full voting rights on the outcomes:)
