Peter’s Testimonial Dinner and Auction Night is on Saturday 7th September in the Greenock Town Hall at 7pm. Price: £40 per person Includes 3 course meal MC Alasdair Hendry Guest Speakers : Chick Young and Scott Glynn Chick is the football correspondent for BBC Scotland television and radio, but prefers to be known as the captain of the legendary charity football team Dukla Pumpherston. . He is also the favourite target of Jonathan Watson and "only an excuse" who seem to be under the illusion that Chick is a bluenose. He in fact pledges his allegiance to St Mirren. In over three and a half decades as a journalist Chick has worked for too many papers, magazines, radio stations and television companies to mention, and some even survived his presence. Scott Glynn is a well renowned after dinner speaker, and is in high demand up and down the UK. He has spoken at functions with Alex Ferguson MBE, and will be sure to ‘have you rolling about with laughter’ as his reviews all suggest! We will also have an auction, hosted by Brian Clements of McTear’s.
