Petition To: Members of the United States Congress Whereas, Social Security and Medicare were created with the strict guarantee that all funds collected would be distributed to the proper recipients; Whereas, millions of Americans have been promised the necessary funds for retirement and healthcare from the respective trust funds; Whereas, Washington politicians have already illegally raided these funds for their own political gain, to the detriment of the solvency of these vitally important programs; And whereas, the livelihood of millions of American seniors has been endangered by the uncertainty of Social Security and Medicare; Therefore, I hereby demand that you immediately pass an amendment to the United States Constitution guaranteeing that every cent collected for the purposes of Social Security or Medicare will be repaid to the proper recipients as promised, without exception. https://secure.giveworks.net/retiresafe/benefits/STO2374
