Pets Come First Centre Hall, Pa---We are going to be looking for a foster home...or better yet a forever home for this 8 1/2 year old girl named Sassy. Sassy was brought in with her brother Charlie back in March of this year. Both cats were almost 20 lbs upon arrival. After several months of waiting...Charlie got his second chance at a new loving home. Sassy waited and held out hope, but it never happened for her. She became very depressed (like almost every older cat that comes into the shelter which is why we beg people not to do it) and lost over 10 lbs!! We took her to the vet, had bloodwork done and physically...her body is fine. I brought her home, she wouldnt eat no matter what I gave her . FINALLY after 13 days...she is eating again! (More than just a lick of wet food here or there like before). She is finally coming out of her depression and as you can see...she is a LOVE BUG!! She doesnt mind dogs, doesnt mind my cats even though my young male has harassed her to no end. Can you give Sassy an INSIDE ONLY foster or forever home for the holidays?
