There is a loud cry in Limpopo, another one in Kwazulu-Natal, I heard VhaVenda mourning in Muduluni, AmaZulu doing the same in Durban, A loud voice cried from SAFA, it was president Danny Jordaan, Another one came from ASA, it was president Aleck Skhosana, They both cried loud in broad voices, mourning fallen Heroes in their departments, A king in athletics, a king in soccer, They both died a tragic deaths, deaths that no king wishes to die, That brought a bunch of pain to South Africa. Death be not proud, A slight curve in Witbank silenced the whole nation, We all cry in pain thinking of his work to the nation, It all started in 1999 in African junior athletics, With pride he carried a national flag in the 2004 Summer Olympics, South African Sports Man of the Year in 2006, World Champion in 2009. He was indeed a loyal servant of the country, a legend in athletics, an Icon in Mzansi. An asset to the community, but death saddened the whole South Africa, Indeed the hero has fallen, we all felt a bunch of pain. A single bullet in Vosloorus silenced the nation, no one could believe, He was on action a night before the tragedy, but today he is no more. He led the nation in four successive games, but they led his spirit to heaven. Powerful shorts he stopped, but his death they initiated. An icon in the Bucs family, a hero in the Bafana family, A role model in Mzansi.. Gone too soon but left us with so much to remember. Who can forget the Bucs treble? His amazing CCL performance? Indeed a Hero has fallen. We all felt a bunch of pains. They could have just named their price, Surely Mr. Mbalula would have settled it. God makes no mistake, they say.... But why both of them at the same time? What did South Africa do to deserve such a punishment? Indeed heroes has fallen...... We all felt a bunch of pains.......
