Phew! Guess my encouraging post from yesterday planted a seed because our fantastic shop has been so solidly busy that its 12:30 pm and I havent had a moment to post until now! Lucky for you I have so much to do still today that Ill likely be here until 3 pm (and then Im coming back with my boys after 4 pm to work on a special order...125 chocolate-coated pretzel rods...and Im bound to make some extra for the shop for tomorrow...the excitement just doesnt cease around here!) Hot soups have been popular today even though I hadnt posted yet. (Guess youre realizing you can consistently count on us for our delicious soups whether I rave about them or not ;) ). Todays soups are Chicken Enchilada (flavorful, not spicy) and Cream of Mushroom...mmmmm. Julie and I have been baking muffins like mad women today so we currently have 11 flavors on the shelf - WAHOO! Cookies have been flying today too...as we approach Teacher Appreciation Week and Mothers Day, dont be afraid to plan ahead and place your orders early so we can help you appreciate the important people in your lives! And speaking of planning ahead, we will once again be selling soups, sandwiches, bakery, beverages, etc. at the Norski Soccer Tournament this weekend (Sat & Sun 8 am - 5 pm) AND the DeForest Farmers Market is just around the corner. Nice weather or no, one week from Tuesday (May 13th) we will be back at Veterans Memorial Park in DeForest on Tuesday afternoons from 3-6 pm. I have SO much more to say (see my photos...they say theyre worth a thousand words, right? ;) ) but if I dont stop here, todays post will certainly become tomorrows... Happy Day, Friends of Windsor Breads!!
