Phil will be leaving sometime tomorrow for University of WA for further assessment and treatment for a suspected brain tumor. Ordinarily something like this would be incredibly challenging to wrap our heads and hearts around, but given the initial diagnoses of JCVirus with suspected PML - it becomes a thankfulness for the lesser of bogeymen so to speak. Yes, we wish with everything in us that it was something far less complicated, but it isnt and this is where we are at. We wont have a lot of definitive answers until after our visit to U of W. My plans call for me making the trip over perhaps as early as Saturday morning to be with Phil through this. I will post updates as I can and as we know more. All this said - I dont believe God has taken us this far just to drop us off at some random point. He will see us through this. Much love, Phil and Di and Adam and Matthew .
