Philadelphia and the orchestra did indeed throw a ball! A wonderful night of dinner and dancing was held across the floors of the Hyatt at the Bellevue while 6 dance orchestras strummed there best bits. What did they wear? Ladies in sumptuous gowns with elbow length white gloves and yes even a few tiaras clung to the arms of gentlemen clad in white fixings and tail coats. With very few exceptions, including one morning suite with ascot and one purple tuxedo which made its debut on stage, most were respectful enough of the Grand Old Lady of Locust to adhered to the dress code of this time honored spectacular Philadelphia celebration! Special guest Al Pacino, waxed shakespearian King Richard against the backdrop if a walton conposition, while Sergei Rachmaninoff and Johann Strouss filled the room with the greatest if emotion. With a good time had by all and a job well done by our fantastic orchestra, ill be sure to see you next year!
