Philanthropy & Helping: Some of the question we can ask ourselves before helping others: • Is there any selfish, egoistic attitudes, intenstions in it. • Is it because of courtesy, to maintain relationship or social norms.[remember the saying loose money or friendship] • Is the other person exploiting our helping tendency.[as I am near registration office most people used to call me and asks to collect the documents though it is only an hour of work for them]. • Is it is because of not able to tell no in right time. • Is it towards any of your ideals, goals or principles. • Does it exhibits any of higher values. • Does it makes higher aspect act on lower aspect. • Is it for material or spiritual progress of any kind to you or to others.
