Phillip has just finished reading the new book called The Reckoning How the Killing of One Man Changed the Fate of the Promised Land by Patrick Bishop. The one man was Avraham Stern who was killed by Assistant Superintendent Geoffrey Morton of the Palestine Police in February 1942. It has remained a mystery, whether he was shot whilst escaping or killed in cold blood. This book goes a long way to try to get to a definitive answer. I enjoyed the book which is well written and encompasses much research which is well documented at the end of the book. Also I am reading Mind Over Mood The Surprising Power of Expectations by Chris Berdik. It is a fascinating account of the power of conscious and unconscious expectations to alter our experiences and behavior. A truly fascinating book which has opened my eyes about expectations in every manifestation. If you need an explaination of why, when we crave a banana sundae, the first few mouthfulls are great but towards the end, it is not so tasty. A truly enjoyabel read
