Philosophy and Philosophizing must be encouraged not discouraged at all levels of society. This is the bedrock of Ancient and Contemporary Civilization. Stretching our minds leads to social transformation of gigantic proportions. Marx and Angels in their literally works took a scathing attack on Pure Capitalism and suggested an extreme Socio- Politico Economic order which transformed Russia into a Super Power. The Chinese Revolution under the tutelage of Mao Zedong sow the seeds of a Vibrant China which has catapulted itself into an economic and Super Power miracle of the 21st century with President Deng hatching the eggs with his reforms in the 80s and Chicks are fully grown now. On the polar end we have the Father of Modern Economics Adam Smith in his Wealth of Nations extolling the virtues of Pure Capitalism and its power to be the engine of economic Growth witnessed in the West with USA being transformed into the most powerful and high mass consumption Nation today Galileo gave us the telescope with Socrates philosophies having a profound influence on how we view the World today. The shaduf ,an irrigation system which applies the lever and fulcrum science also comes into mind on what an unfettered mind can do to humanity in its quest to improve its lot. Stretching the mind produced the telephone , the Pythagoras theorem, Pareto analysis , the wheel , the Plane and a whole host of ideas , inventions and innovations we have today. This important phenomenon must not be left to University Professors alone , otherwise humanity will miss great opportunities to move this World into another exciting hitherto fruitful world. Every being on earth must be listened to regardless of their position in society. Even so called imbeciles have something to contribute to make our lot better. In the beginning Man used stone tools do handle his daily life , but it did not take a University Faculty to discover Iron ore and to process it into metal , but man at grassroots level as he stretched his mind in a bid to transform his community and the Iron Age changed humanity as it produced more on the land, gathered more and hunted more , domesticated animals and crops , improving diets ,maximizing wealth and trading off work with leisure. Lets not fetter people with an insatiable appetite to philosophize , they need to be listened to carefully rather than derisively dismiss them as gnomes. No man is a gnome , we all have a purpose on Earth to add to its well being. Ants mould anti hills whose soil is a form of manure , and an anti is useful to the ecosystem , which is a subset of the universe , what about a person whose existence is a manifestation of Gods Glory , a show of his power ,opulence and splendor , why will we not give every person on an earth due respect. A person is a microcosm of humanity and for humanity to be complete we have to be allowed to express ourselves through stretching of the mind. The mind is the synopsis of todays beauty and it is at the lower echelons of society where the World is made. The World is people at the bottom . Leaders lead people and to be a leader , there must be people Everyone is worth being listened to. It looked ridiculous when a man suggested that man can also fly like birds and the first attempt ended in tragedy , therein lies the idea of the Airplane which the Wright brothers took to its logical conclusions When the Rozvi attempted to go to the moon to take it as a gift for their Mambos , it ended disastrously but today man has visited the moon with Yuri Gagarin fulfilling that dream which stems from stretching the mind. Even my favorite Football was started by factory workers in the streets to cure boredom after hard work and today it stops the heart of the World and unites divergent communities . Let us give every being the opportunity to philosophize and not leave it to a selected few who we perceive to be the most suitable due to their standing. God created us so that we will all add value to his creation and the sum total will be a more beautiful creation of God. Yesteryear generations were more permissive and no wonder why the foundations of todays inventions , innovations and social transformation are rooted in our past The ability and freedom to stretch the mind must not be underestimated, fettered and monopolized. Philosophy is key to human success , philosophy which straddles the whole body spectrum.
