She is an artist as well as a poet and has published poems in The Avocet, Mobius magazine, Commonweal, Words magazine (published by the School of Visual Arts), Columbia magazine and Lake Effect (formerly published in Oswego, NY). Her poetry has also appeared in anthologies such as Dinner With the Muse, edited by Evie Ivy. New work is due to appear next month in 360 degrees, a journal published by the Circle of Poets in Trinidad and in the upcoming Cave Canem Anthology #12 and Cave Canem Anthology #13, to be published by Willow Books. Susan Maurers most recent book Josephine Butler; A Collection Of Poetry, Phoenix Press International is available world wide print on demand. Her Perfect Dark was published by ungovernable press. She is on YouTube , poetry thin air. As she writes for her work to be read she is a publication junky. Her work is published in 16 countries and includes 8 little books, and 3 broadsides. She has been nominated 6 times for the Pushcart Prize. She reads widely and most recently in Albany. Her next reading is at KGB in March. HOST: Michael Graves is the author of Adam and Cain (Black Buzzard, 2006), In Fragility (Black Buzzard, 2011) and two chapbooks, Illegal Border Crosser (Cervana Barva, 2008) and Outside St. Jude’s (R. E. M. Press, 1990). His poem “Apollo to Daphne” appears in an anthology from Oxford University Press, Gods and Mortals (2,001) and his “Poem to Spring in a Time of Global Warming” appears on AboutPoetry In two thousand four (2004), he received a grant from the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation. Thirteen (13) of his poems appear in the James Joyce Quarterly.
