Photographers ! Coming up later in August, its a very special edition of the Oshkosh Photography Groups Mid Week Meetup ! All photographers welcome, meet at 10 am in the morning, rain or shine, Thursday, August 28, 2014, at the JC Penney parking lot, 2175 S. Koeller, Oshkosh. We will travel as a group to the former Waite Grass Rug Co., buildings, about 7 minutes away. Well do photos (inside) for a two hours, more or less, then head over to the downtown Oshkosh Bistro for coffee, a sandwich, and polite conversation. Im not sure what to expect inside, this is an old building which has been repurposed more than once. I did hear a comment about guest raccoons, but Im sure that was a long time ago. At one time it was the venerable Lenox Candle Co. We always try to find places where there are enough photo opportunities for those who dont enjoy people photography, and we hope the interior will be interesting. Weather permitting, exterior areas which can be approached safely will also be available. We also are pleased to have the iconic Mel Ana as our model.
