Photographic proof that a Boeing 707-420 could be built, flown & delivered with a short tail-fin & without a ventral fin; here is the Boeing 707-437, VT-DJJ “Annapurna”, c/n 17723, l/n 100, of Air India International Corporation at London - Heathrow: possibly on delivery & acceptance on 19th February 1960. The second of three aircraft ordered on 31st August 1956, she had the 312,000lb MTOW. Note the “0” in the tail-fin “Boeing 707” titles have been applied upside down.
