Photos and updates from Caitlin and the Demolition! Ive been excited to hear what happened to the trap doors that made up a large part of the stage. One trap door will be repaired and shared with our Galloway House, as well as a plaque and a selection of bricks. The rest of the trap doors will be made into one or two conference tables and will stay on site at Commonwealths Corporate offices. This is good. : ) Special thanks to Caitlin and Jason....who didnt have to do it. They chose to. : ) Other updates: stage wood has been purchased by someone that wishes to make tables out of it? If I understand this correctly. The surrounding wood, not the trap doors. It was neatly piled and handed off to be repurposed. This is also awesome. Commonwealth is taking the antique drops (huge scenery) and the lighting, at least the sconces. Not sure if they are using them in their office or another project of theirs. Ill keep you posted on other things as I get more stories. Thanks again, to anyone and everyone making time to find these items a home in our community. : )
