Photos from Si Juan Dela Cruzs post in Pinoy MTB - Filipino Mountain Bikers By Si Juan Dela Cruz THIS IS WHY WE FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHT TO ROAD SAFETY APPEAL TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR MORE SAFETY MEASURES The Infamous Da Wall Deadly Curve in Timberland Heights once again victimized another JUAN DELA CRUZ last March 09, 2014 at around 9:00 A.M. Our fellow cyclist was biking alone at this time. And we have yet to inform his Family & Friends about the incident since he remains not identified while he was unconscious. Good Samaritan cyclists assisted JUAN DELA CRUZ by gently removing his helmet to allow him to breathe a little easier. Initial information, although unconfirmed, shows that the Ambulance assigned to the area took quite some time to get to the scene of the Bicycle Crash. (almost 15 - 20 minutes) Eye Witness accounts at least show that JUAN DELA CRUZ was still breathing when he was assisted into the Ambulance. No further information about JUAN DELA CRUZ has been gathered since the graphic pictures were posted online. And also according to initial reports, THREE INCIDENTS happened all during this same day along the dreaded Mountain Road Way leading up to Timberland Heights. The Local Government of San Mateo has been supportive of both Road & Mountain Bicyclists visiting Timberland Heights & nearby areas throughout the years. Fervently, we pray that we can find strength in one another. THUS WE APPEAL FOR HELP TO ESTABLISH MORE SAFETY MEASURES IN SAN MATEO.
