Photos from yesterdays community mobilization to the Los Angeles Police Departments meeting on Body Cameras Thanks to the work of youth of color activists across the nation, police are being forced to answer to their histories of brutality and violence in communities of color. CODEPINK LA, Stop LAPD Spying Coalition and others were out at the LAPD meeting to demand justice for Ezell Ford, to question where and how Body Camera data will be collected, and to speak to the history of the department with tampering with recording devices, and spying, targeting and data base-ing peoples private information.
